A few weeks ago , we heard lots of talks about the viable routes for Ugandan crude oil export pipeline. And it was the hot talking point in Tanzania’s petroleum industry, East Africa perhaps entire world.

Thankfully, Uganda picks Tanzania rather than Kenya. And I’ve strong feeling you’re happy with such achievement. Right?. Seriously,  I’m thrilled, too.

But the great question lingered in mind. Who will be the early birds in this project.?

Early birds are people who take early advantages of a situation. They have eagle eyes to notices opportunity even it’s kept under wrap. And grabs it at an alarming rate.

The 1120-km pipeline crosses various landscapes and ecosystem. Most importantly, the pipeline passes through remotely located areas in which Local communities are dependent on specific ecosystem and Culture.

The proposed pipeline moves through Biharamulo Games reserves, river Kagera in Uganda and Pangani river .Many affected communities depend heavily on fishing and agriculture.
